4th Lawsuit Filed Against Bartaco For Hep A Exposure
The latest suit was filed by two Connecticut men.

PORT CHESTER, NY — A new lawsuit has been filed against a Port Chester restaurant who had an employee working at it while infected with the hepatitis A virus. Two Connecticut men — known only as Jack Doe and Peter Doe — submitted the suit Jan. 22 in state Supreme Court against bartaco.
It’s the fourth legal action filed against the Port Chester restaurant since the disease outbreak, lohud.com said.
County health officials announced in late October that people who had visited bartaco for food or drinks between Oct. 12 and 23 had been exposed to the Hepatitis A virus.

The county offered free preventive treatment, though anyone who ate at the restaurant during the affected time period had a specific window in which to get the treatment. More than 3,000 people were estimated to have obtained immune globulin shots along with blood tests and other diagnostic procedures.
