Would you pay $50 for a hybrid croissant/donut or "Cronut" concoction? That's what people are doing in NYC. The newest crusty confection concoction, is taking the city by storm and on a side note creating a new sort of part time job. Entrepreneurial people who are currently out of work, have taken up the job of line keeper. If you cannot wake up early enough in the morning to grab your treat, these people will do the waiting for you. For a price of course. These "Cronuts" sell for $5 a piece in the store, but are reselling off line for anywhere up to $50. So the question is, would you ever be tempted to pay $50 for a pastry?
