Applications Being Accepted in Port Chester for Pre-kindergarten
A lottery will choose who will fill the 270 available spots for the full-day program.
PORT CHESTER, NY - Registration for pre-kindergarten for the 2016-17 school year is now open in the Port Chester School District.
Parents of children who will be 4 years old by Dec. 1, 2016, may send in an application.
It will be put into a lottery for the 270 available spots, officials said.

The full-day program is run in partnership with WESTCOP-Head Start.

Classes are held at Our Lady of Mercy School, 17 Spring St.
Applications have been sent to families of current elementary students, but they can also be downloaded from the district website here or picked up at WESTCOP-Head Start or at the district offices.
The application deadline is April 29.
