Sat., Feb. 27: Audition for the Summer

Auditions for the August 2016 Summer Intensive program at Ballet des Amériques will be held at 16 King Street in Port Chester on Saturday February 27, 2016. Please call 646-753-0457 or e-mail admin@balletdesameriques.com to register. A $25 audition fee is due at the time of the audition.

The audition times by age groups are as follows:

9:00 AM to 10:00 AM - students age 4-8

9:00 AM to 10:00 AM - students age 9-11

10:00 AM to 12:00 PM - students age 12-15

10:00 AM to 12:00 PM - students age 16 and up

Summer Intensive – 4-week program – August 1 – 26

Mondays through Fridays from 9am until 2:30pm

Classes and workshops in: ballet, pre-pointe, pointe, répertoire, partnering, modern dance, modern jazz, barre au sol, music and voice, ballet terminology (French), dance history, acting, arts and crafts, folkloric dance, stage makeup. Each week there will be Master Classes taught by renowned guest teachers, and the program will culminate in a performance at the end of August.
