Cement Truck Rolls Down Embankment At Exit 3 On I-95: Police

The crash temporarily closed the off-ramp Monday afternoon.

GREENWICH, CT — Minor injuries were reported Monday afternoon after a cement truck rolled over and down the embankment at exit 3 southbound on I-95, according to Greenwich police and the state Department of Transportation.

Connecticut State Police first allowed some traffic to pass down the Arch Street ramp following the 12:15 p.m. crash, but then temporarily closed it a short while later, wrote Greenwich police on Twitter.

Additional details about the crash were not immediately available from authorities, but the Greenwich Time reported that a heavy duty tow truck was on the scene to remove the cement truck, which could take a couple of hours.
