U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, Jay Clayton, announced the unsealing of a complaint charging 42-year-old Andrew Ford, of Stamford, Connecticut, with sexual exploitation of a Westchester County girl and transportation of the girl for unlawful sexual activity. He was arrested on Friday, presented before a judge in White Plains federal court, and ordered to be detained.
The charge of sexual exploitation of a child carries 15 years to 30 years in prison; while the charge of transportation of a child for unlawful sexual activity carries 10 years to life in prison.

"As alleged, Andrew Ford sexually abused a 13-year-old child and documented that abuse with photographs—compounding the harm to an already vulnerable victim," Clayton said. "Sexual predators should know this: In 2025 and 2026, our Office has brought federal charges against an unprecedented volume of individuals for the sexual exploitation of children and child pornography. If you prey on children in New York, you will be identified, arrested, and prosecuted. New Yorkers want you in prison."
According to the complaint, which can be read here, in December 2024, a 13-year-old victim told law enforcement that Ford had sexually abused her on several occasions, both at her home in Port Chester, and in Greenwich, Connecticut.

The prosecution is being handled by the Office's White Plains Division, with Assistant U.S. Attorneys Marcia S. Cohen and Ioannis D. Drivas in charge of the prosecution.
