Domestic Dry Goods Company to Close in Rye Ridge Shopping Center
The store featured premium, all-American made, home and garden items.
RYE BROOK, NY — Domestic Dry Goods Company will be closing its doors at the Rye Ridge Shopping Center at the end of January.
It was a premium, all-American made, home, garden and gift boutique created by Erin Hinchey, who is also the leasing agent for the shopping center.
Hinchey said it was her lifelong dream to create the store.

“I achieved what I set out to do, but the work involved never stops, and when a situation is a burden more than a pleasure, it’s time to move on,” she said. “My life is such currently that my priorities have shifted and when one door closes another opens.”
In its three years at Rye Ridge Shopping Center, the store received numerous awards and publicity.
