Join Humane Society of Westchester volunteers and doggie ambassadors at Pine Ridge Park in Rye Brook for a day of fun for four-legged friends.  The Village of Rye Brook is hosting a Howl-O-Ween party for the dogs, featuring games, raffles, and a doggie costume contest, with treats for the animals as well.   There will even be a prize for best dog costume, donated by PetValu, one of the event sponsors.  WHEN: 10am to 12noon Saturday   WHERE: Pine Ridge Park is located on the corner of Latonia Drive and Mohegan Lane  There will be adoption opportunities onsite, and donations can be made to the <a href="http://humanesocietyofwestchester.org/home-2/" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">Humane Society of Westchester.</a>

The Junior League of Greenwich is thrilled to announce the return of their beloved Touch A Truck event! This year’s family-fun extravaganza will be held on Sunday, May 17th 2026 (from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm) at Greenwich Town Hall (101 Field Point Road), rain or shine.
Early Access for Sensory Needs: The JLG understands that loud noises and bright lights can be overwhelming for some children. To ensure an inclusive event, they’ll be offering a reduced sensory experience from 9:30 am to 10:00 am. During this time, families can explore the various trucks and vehicles in a smaller setting with limited sounds and lights.
VIP Experience: Doors open EARLY for VIP ticket holders at 9 am. Get early access to Touch a Truck! Receive an exciting gift bag filled with Touch a Truck goodies!
Throughout the day, children will have the chance to fulfill their dreams of climbing aboard a fire truck, honking the horn of a dump truck, or even taking a ride on a miniature train.
