Empty Bowls Workshop

Help raise awareness of hunger in Westchester by creating a hand-made bowl during our 16th annual Empty Bowls Workshop.

Empty Bowls WorkshopsHelp raise awareness of hunger in Westchester by creating a hand-made bowl during our 16th annual Empty Bowls WorkshopIMG_2163.jpgor Artists and Current Students:Sunday, January 10th, 1-4pmCreate bowls, bowls, and more bowls during this drop-in workshop. Students must have a mastery of basic clay skills and be able to work independently. Clay will be provided - please bring your own tools.This workshop is free to all CAC artists and students currently enrolled in a class or workshop.For Community Members:Saturday, January 9th Session 1: 1-2pm or Session 2: 2:30-3:30pm

Come and learn how to make a basic clay bowl. Bowls will be fired and returned within 3 weeks.$15 per person, per session, all proceeds donated to the interfaith soup kitchens of Port Chester. Children under 12 must attend with a guardian. SPACE IS LIMITED. Tickets go on sale at the front desk 30 minutes prior to each session. First Come First Served.

Not available to create a bowl? Attend the Empty Bowls fundraiser held at Rye Presbyterian Church to purchase beautifully crafted bowls made by more than 50 Clay Art Center artists. Take home a unique bowl and enjoy warm and comforting soup donated by local restaurants. Together, with Rye Presbyterian Church and a host of volunteers, we have raised over $72,000 in the fight to end hunger in Westchester County.
