PORT CHESTER, NY — An investigation has been launched into whether tens of thousands of dollars are missing from a Port Chester fire company’s accounts. The investigation is in its preliminary stages and involves Putnam Engine and Hose, one of seven volunteer companies in the village.
Police Chief Richard Conway said there was a complaint within the company that initiated the matter, lohud.com said.
A spokesman for the Westchester County District Attorney did not comment to lohud.com.
