'Ice Cream Fridays' to Begin July 1 in Rye Brook

The village is inviting the community to have a free ice cream every Friday in July.

Rye Brook, NY — “Ice Cream Fridays” begins Friday, July 1, in Rye Brook.

The village will provide free ice cream, while supplies last, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. each Friday in July at Pine Ridge Park, village officials said.

The only exception will be July 15 when the event shifts to Garibaldi Park for the opening of the newly install playground.

In addition to the free ice cream, there will be a bounce house, music and playgrounds for the children.

If the event is canceled due to the weather, the village make an announcement by 4 p.m. Friday.
