'Ice Cream Fridays' Cancelled for July 1

The free event will start next week.

Rye Brook, NY — Because of the forecast of severe weather, “Ice Cream Fridays” in Rye Brook has been cancelled for Friday, July 1.

On July 8, the village will provide free ice cream, while supplies last, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. each remaining Friday in July at Pine Ridge Park, village officials said.

The only exception will be July 15 when the event shifts to Garibaldi Park for the opening of the newly install playground.

In addition to the free ice cream, there will be a bounce house, music and playgrounds for the children.
If the event is canceled due to the weather, the village make an announcement by 4 p.m. Friday.
