Saturday - Sunday October 24-25, 2015 10am-5pm DEMO/HANDS ON
In this two-day workshop Kari will focus on making and decorating a variety of pottery forms using a smorgasbord of techniques including sgrafitto and mishima using colored terra sigilatas that can be customized to any clay body. Kari will talk about her “rain coat” method (as opposed to lab coat) of working with sig and glaze and will share some of her insights of maintaining a studio practice after becoming a parent of two. Each day will be split between demonstrations and hands-on working, which will be furious, friendly and frequent!
