Memorial Day Service at the African American Cemetery May 23

The African American Cemetery Committee will hold services at the African American Cemetery at Greenwood Union Cemetery in Rye, NY, on Saturday, May 23 at 10:00 am.

Progress continues to be made with each passing year of this project. This year we are proud to announce the formation of a nonprofit entity, The Friends of the African American Cemetery. This entity will seek funding in order to maintain the site as well as create a place for learning and reflection for the entire community for generations to come.
