Milling, Paving Scheduled for Rye Brook, Port Chester

The work will be done on King Street.

PORT CHESTER, NY - Be prepared for some road work to take place while the state repaves King Street in Rye Brook.

The paving work will be from the New York border just south of Anderson Hill Road to Clermont Avenue in Port Chester.

Milling and paving will take place from May 11 to May 20 at night. Work will occur from 8 p.m. through 6 a.m.

For this week, work will happen Wednesday, May 11, and Thursday, May 12.

Work will start again Sunday evening, May 15, and continue until it is completed. There will be no work on Saturday evenings.

State transportation officials said at least one lane of traffic will be maintained at all times.

The work is being done at night to help with traffic, but it will be loud and the lights will be bright.
