A 'Night of Inspiration' Comes to Port Chester

Northway Church of Albany, New York is inviting the public to join them for their “Night of Inspiration” event hosted by their pastors Buddy Cremeans and his wife Debbie, on October 23 at 7:30 PM at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester. This will be their first event held at the world famous rock palace. Guests who attend will receive a FREE copy of Pastor Joel Osteen’s book, “The Power of I Am” when they present their tickets. Grammy winner Bebe Winans will be the special guest and the entertainment.

Northway Church Communications Director, Alyssa Paulsen told us, “We don’t have a specific target audience. One of Northway Church’s greatest values is diversity. We welcome people from every age and stage of life, and every ethnic background!”

Patch contacted Buddy Cremeans and got the scoop about the event and how it was founded.

“My wife, Pastor Debbie, and I founded Northway Church in September of 2002. We heard that the Northeast was one of the most ‘unchurched’ regions of the United States, and we wanted to change that by starting a church that would show people love, and encourage people that God’s not mad at them, but instead He’s madly in love with them. Today, God has grown our church beyond anything we could have asked for or imagined! We are now one church in multiple locations with two TV Programs that cumulatively reach millions each year. We have been blessed to see thousands of lives encouraged, inspired, and changed for the better.” He added, “Our mission and vision is to encourage and inspire local communities. One of the ways we accomplish this is by hosting inspirational events. The Capitol Theatre is the perfect venue for this particular event!”

Cremeans stated that the mission of Northway Church is to make a positive impact on local communities.

“Northway Church is one church in multiple locations, committed to making a positive impact in local communities. It was created to be a life-giving, life changing organization with the intention of meeting people’s needs.”

Joel Osteen, pastor and author of many inspirational books is a close friend of the Northway Church.

So why is the church offering the event for free?

“When we come to bless a local community with an event, we go all in! Our goal is to give our guests the best experience possible. If we can, we choose to make the event free of cost to our guests.”
