One Injured in Port Chester House Fire

One person was injured in a house fire in Port Chester Sunday night on Betsy Brown Road, according to authorities.

The blaze was reported at about 8 p.m. and took more than an hour to bring under control. Port Chester officials posted on Facebook that in addition to their firefighters, fire personnel from the Town of Mamaroneck were also called to the scene for assistance.

One person sustained burns and was hospitalized Sunday, reports The Journal News. Their condition was not immediately known.
