Police Identify Fatal Construction Accident Victim as Port Chester Resident

Police have identified the victim of a fatal April 11 construction accident in Darien, CT as Jose Nabor, 44, of Port Chester.

Nabor was found injured in an apparent fall on Nearwater Lane during the afternoon. Police believe he fell from a scaffold while working on a single family residence.

Police and EMS found the victim unconscious with a visible head injury. He was transported to Stamford Hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.

No one reported witnessing the fall that led to the injury.
