Port Chester Considers $65.5 Mil. Bond for School Additions
The high school and middle school would be expanded.

The Port Chester School District is considering a $65.5 million bond issuance to pay for building additions onto the high school and middle school, according to officials.
The Journal News reports the additions are needed because enrollment has been growing in recent years at both schools, and it is expected to continue on that trend for several years go come.
“We’ve been over-enrolled for seven years,” School Superintendent Edward Kliszus told The Journal News.
