Port Chester Middle School Remains Closed Wednesday
Emergency repairs could cost $400,000, school officials said.

PORT CHESTER, NY — A middle school that was closed Friday due to safety concerns remains closed to students and staff Wednesday. A notice posted on the Port Chester schools website said Port Chester Middle School will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 1, as ongoing safety measures continue to ensure that the building can open safely.
“The Central Office is open and all other schools are in session,” the notice said.
The building also houses the offices for the board of trustees.
