
PORT CHESTER, NY — The voters in the Port Chester-Rye Union School District voted to approve the budget for the 2017-18 school year. According to unofficial results, there were 863 yes votes and 686 no votes.
The budget package was $96,074,468, up 4.3 percent from the current year’s spending plan.
Incumbent Anne Capeci and challenger Tom Corbia were elected to three-year terms on the Board of Education in a contested election.
