Port Chester Paying Out Millions In Police OT Pay

Lack of new recruits and a faulty disability process are contributing factors.

PORT CHESTER, NY — The Village of Port Chester is facing million of dollars in overtime costs for its police force. Over the last five years, $3.7 million has been spent on OT — more than $1.3 million more than what was budgeted.
