Port Chester School Budget Results

Voters turned out to decide whether the proposed spending package was approved.

PORT CHESTER, NY — Voters in the Port Chester-Rye school district went to the polls Tuesday to decide whether to pass the budget for the 2018-19 school year. The $97.2 million spending package was approved 1,197 to 729, according to unofficial results.

The budget was 1.2 percent above the current year. The tax levy increase is 1.88 percent.

Incumbent Christopher Wolff and Luigi Russo were elected to the board of education.
