Port Chester School District Calendar 2022-23: 1st Day Of School

PORT CHESTER, NY — It seems as if summer just started, but before you know it, the 2022-23 school year will be starting.

The first day of classes for the Port Chester school district is Tuesday, September 6.

Whether or not you and your children are looking forward to the upcoming school year, you will want to write down the dates in your calendar as soon as possible.

Emergency Closings: The 1st and 2nd Emergency Closing Days used will be days without classes and no changes to the calendar. The Superintendent will determine if a 3rd Emergency Closing Day will be remote instruction or no classes. A 4th Emergency Closing Day will be remote instruction. If not permitted to hold remote instruction, starting with the 4th Emergency Closing Day, make-up days, in the following order, will be: March 14, April 3, April 4, April 5, April 6, April 7. If fewer than three emergency days are used, school will be closed on May 26.
