Port Chester Schools Seeking Members for Bond Advisory Committee
A diverse representation of the community is desired.

PORT CHESTER, NY — The Port Chester-Rye Union Free School District is currently preparing for a school bond building project.
As part of the process, the district will be authorizing a Bond Advisory Committee to examine, review and make recommendations to the Board of Education, district officials said.

Parents and community members are invited to apply to become a member.

The Board of Education will be selecting committee members from among the applicants to ensure a diverse representation of community stakeholders.
Committee members will serve in an advisory role and will not have decision-making authority.

“Members of the committee will be expected to commit the time and effort required of them to complete the tasks laid out in the committee’s Charter,” said Superintendent Dr. Edward Kliszus.
The Bond Advisory Committee Charter and application for membership are posted on the district’s website homepage. Copies also can be obtained by calling 914-934-7901. Completed applications will be accepted through July 15.
