Port Chester Voters Being Asked To OK $97M Budget For 2018-19

The tax levy increase is under the state mandated tax cap.

PORT CHESTER, NY — The Port Chester-Rye school district is asking voters to approve a $97.2 million budget for the 2018-19 school year Tuesday, May 15. The spending package represents an increase of 1.2 percent over the 2017-18 school year.

The tax levy increase is 1.88 percent, which under the allowed state mandated tax cap.

The polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. in the Port Chester Middle School Gymnasium.
