Port Chester Voters Will Decide oN $161.3M Proposed Schools Budget, 2 School Board Seats
The budget is intended to support fiscal stability and long-term educational goals while addressing current economic challenges.

PORT CHESTER, NY — Voters in the district are scheduled to head to the polls Tuesday, May 19, to decide a proposed 2026-27 school budget and elect two Board of Education trustees.
Voting is set for 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Thomas A. Edison, John F. Kennedy, King Street and Park Avenue schools.
The proposed budget totals $161,311,010 for the 2026-27 school year. According to the district, that represents a $6,844,010 increase, or 4.4 percent, over the current budget. The proposal also includes a 2.01 percent tax levy increase.
