The Quartet of Restoration, July 12, 10:30am

Rev. Tim Dalton will reflect on Psalm 85:8-13 and Ephesians 1:3-14. In the psalm, the poet speaks of a “quartet of attributes” that characterizes the way of the Lord: covenant loyalty (hesed), faithfulness (‘emet), righteousness (sedeq), and peace (shalom). In these four Hebrew terms, the psalmist identifies what full restoration to God looks like. When we hear what the church can become, we become whole, giving delight to God and each other. Fellowship follows worship. Free Parking.
