Some Water Restrictions Eased In Rye Brook
Recent rains have helped fill Connecticut reservoirs, but they aren't out of the woods completely yet.

RYE BROOK, NY — Some water restrictions are being relaxed in New York communities, including Rye Brook, thanks to the recent rainfall.
Information from village officials said that SUEZ water company still said that the water levels in Connecticut reservoirs remain below normal for this time of year.
As a result, water restrictions are still in effect.

The outdoor irrigation ban will remain in effect, meaning no sprinkler system use. But the use of hand-held hoses, soaker hoses and golf courses to water both tees and greens is permitted.

The village has been advised that the water levels and the remaining restrictions will be monitored and revisited later this month.
