A Sunday morning worship service at First Baptist Church of White Plains
As part of a “pulpit exchange,” Rev. Karen Eiler, from Memorial United Methodist Church, White Plains, will lead the worship service at First Baptist Church of White Plains this Sunday. She will reflect on the many expressions of community.
About Rev. Eiler: Rev. Eiler’s undergraduate degree in foreign languages led to a career in marketing and management at IBM, during which it never, ever occurred to her that she would end up as a pastor. She imagines God laughing as she worked as the Christian Education Director of a large program, then made her way through Yale Divinity School. She has served United Methodist churches in Ridgefield and Danbury, CT, and moved to White Plains in July 2013.
