Two-Vehicle Crash on I-287 Leads to DWI Arrest

The accident occurred Wednesday night, Sept. 23.

A 24-year-old Port Chester woman was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated Sept. 23 after her car rear-ended an SUV on I-287 at exit 9W in Harrison.

According to state police, Oneyda Portillo was driving a 2010 Acura TSX when the car rear-ended a 2013 Ford Expedition at about 11 p.m.

Neither driver was injured, and troopers found Portillo was intoxicated. At the station, Portillo’s blood alcohol content tested at 0.22 percent, which is above the legal limit.

Portillo was turned over to a sober third party and released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Harrison Court on Oct. 20 at 9:30 a.m.
