Please see the village's website for news, information, and links for FEMA's efforts in the wake of Hurricane Ida. To share photos of how the storm impacted your property in the Village, please email  - [email protected].Be sure to attach photos and the property addresses.  This will help Village officials substantiate the need for FEMA assistance..Additionally, please be advised that the village DPW has been picking up bulk items throughout the weekend and doing the best that they can to help you and your neighbors haul away as much debris as possible.  The village remains hopeful that partners will be engaged soon to help with the volume of material our village is producing and lend support to other storm related responses. We ask that everyone please be patient as we work to mitigate this volume.  We also want to advise you, again, that although the village has relaxed fines for bulk items left on properties, property owners must be aware that leaving items in the streets or close to the curb where they may cause interference with traffic or parking cannot be tolerated. Please do your best to keep large items on the sides of your properties until you are advised to move them to the curb and bundle up smaller items in garbage bags to help DPW employees lift and dispose of items more efficiently.
