Westy Self Storage Supports Greenwich Alliance for Education Turkey Trot

This 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk will raise funds for Alliance programs that help Greenwich Public School students.

Westy Self Storage in Port Chester will be a sponsor at the upcoming Greenwich Alliance for Education 6th Annual Turkey Trot on Saturday, November 26 at the Arch Street Teen Center. This 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk will raise funds for Alliance programs that help Greenwich Public School students.

The Greenwich Alliance for Education was founded in 2006 as a way for the Greenwich community to support the public school system by piloting innovative, educational programs that provide access to opportunities which offer enrichment and close achievement gaps.

More than $45,000 was raised at last year’s event. Come join the fun and assist us to reach this year’s goal of $50,000. With your help, the Greenwich Alliance will fund 90 students participating in the Tuning In To Music program with weekly semi-private or private music lessons, award over $145,000 in grant money to fund innovative programs in the Greenwich Schools and in some community organizations, and deliver early literacy curriculum at Head Start and Family Centers preschools through their Our Going Places With Books Program.
