The is the perfect place to start your college search. We have everything from SAT prep books to the most informative college handbooks. Our collection stays up to date and provides patrons with the knowledge they need to succeed in the future.
Before you enbark on your college adventures, everyone's favorite standardized test must be taken. Let us help you make studying easy and even enjoyable. The Port Jefferson Free Library offers patrons a chance to use ePrep. According to their website, "ePrep helps students of all ability levels reach their educational goals by offering expert instruction in a way that is engaging, convenient, and student-adaptable." There is no cost to use this service, all you will need is your library barcode and pin number. The ePrep sites offers students the chance to take online practice exams, print out study guides and pre-made index cards and play games that will help improve vocabulary. You can find the link to ePrep right on the Teen Website. We also have SAT study booklets and registration forms available for your convenience.
