Irv Plastock, a local children's performer, has been bringing his program of children's classic songs to the Library for many years. In fact, he often credits Linda Lubell, former head of the Children's Department, as the first librarian to hire him and give him his start in the business.
Every year, Irv donates his time and talent to the Library for a free "Sing Along with Irv" program. After performing at the Library three times in a year, he "gifts" us with his fourth performance.
On Monday, Oct. 3, Irv performed his third show of the year to the delight of our patrons aged 2 to 5 years old and their parents/caregivers. His "free" show is scheduled for Monday, Dec. 19 (which is also his birthday!).
