Rockabilly Band, the Long Island Hornets, Rocks Port Jefferson Harbor
Brief description of Long Island Hornets concert in Port. The entire article with photos will follow.

On Thursday night, the Long Island Hornets band brought back the classic rock' n roll sounds of the late fifties and early sixties to Port Jefferson, with numbers like "Honey Don't," and originals like "Roadkill," written by stand up bassist and vocalist, Pete Crunagle. The sound was distinctive and bare with bee-bop rhythms very much in keeping with Chuck Berry, Rick Nelson, and Duane Eddy. Don't be confused by the genre, Rockabiily is and should be here to stay.
