What's Buzzing in the Children's Department at Comsewogue Public Library?

We are now offering Online Registration for nearly all Children's Department programs. Simply search for a program in our online catalog with the program code, click the yellow "Register" star, and enter the necessary information. Online Registration is as easy as 1-2-3!

Live-brary.com for Kids is our digital library branch for children. Here children can download e-books, audio books and more. Students can connect with an online tutor for free homework help and search kid-friendly databases. Don't fret parents, there's a Live-brary.com for you too.

The Children's Corner blog will keep you up-to-date with library events and programs, great books, interesting links and more. This blog includes a special page with links just for parents and a fun digital bookshelf thanks to Shelfari.

From the CPL homepage you can access the TumbleBook Library. Read, watch and listen to hundreds of digital story books. They have recently added 50 new story books for iPads.

And if you enjoy TumbleBooks, you will love BookFLIX by Scholastic. BookFLIX pairs nonfiction books with animated fiction books, all in digital format. Children will also enjoy the extra links and games that go along with each selection. Teachers will love the resource link and numerous lesson plans! In order to access BookFLIX free of charge, you must click on the link available from the CPL homepage and enter your library card barcode number.
