The Comsewogue Varsity boys Soccer team recently won the Suffolk County Class AA Championship for the first time since 2009.

“We are so proud of the boys Soccer team for this incredible achievement,” said Athletic Director Matteo DeVincenzo. “Every student on the team showed immense determination and grit this season, leading to an underdog victory that made history. We look forward to seeing how far our champions can go from here.”

Comsewogue entered the championship as the ninth-seeded team—making them the lowest-seeded champion in Suffolk AA’s 20-year history. However, they won four straight matches, including the quarterfinals against first-seeded team Smithtown West.
