Organized by the PJ Free Library and hosted at the Port Jefferson Village Center, this program is for children ages 5 - 12 years old with parent/caregiver. Lead by Erica Haberkorn, an educator and marine biologist for Long Island Seaport Eco Center and Nature's Teachings children will:
- Explore the marine coastal ecosystem of Port Jefferson Harbor
- Collect various natural materials
- Discussion of native marine animals and plants of this estuarine system.
- Scavenger hunt
