Police are asking for the public’s help to identify and locate a man who stole communion wine from a Long Island church back in July.
According to police, the man pictured above stole the wine from Infant Jesus Roman Catholic Church located at 110 Myrtle Ave. in Port Jefferson on July 13 at 10:25 a.m.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
