Just in time for Father’s Day!
On Saturday and Sunday, June 18 and 19, hordes of pirates will descend upon the grounds of the Long Island Maritime Museum to entertain and delight children and their families at the 7th Annual Pirate Festival.
The event will feature live entertainment and historical reenactments by professional pirate troupes from up and down the east coast. The festival continues to grow in scope and new featured attractions this year will include the off-broadway hit show The Greatest Pirate Story Never Told, famed fire juggler Geoffrey Marsh. and Billy Bones and his hysterical Pirate School. Of course there will be pirate costume contests, treasure hunts, live music, a variety of food options and a thieves market with various vendors selling their wares.
