From Port Jefferson School District: Earl L. Vandermeulen High School senior Trey Pisano performed with the New York State School Music Association All-State Instrumental Jazz Ensemble in Albany as part of Music in our Schools Month.
The month of March is designated each year as Music in Our Schools Month and serves as an opportunity for students and teachers from around the state to meet with government officials in support of music education and perform at the state capitol building.
