4 Men Target Woman in Nassau County Home Invasion

BREAKING: The men threatened the 63-year-old resident, held her down and ripped a gold chain from her neck, police say.

Four men broke into a Roslyn Heights and home forcibly stole jewelry and money from a resident on Saturday morning, police say.

According to authorities, the men entered a Sherwood Lane home through a side door, approached a 63-year-old woman and demanded she give them money at 12:40 a.m.

One of the men, who was wearing a red jacket, threatened the woman while a second man held her down and ripped a gold chain off her neck, police say.

Another man stole an undisclosed amount of cash from the women’s pocketbook, police say. The four burglars then fled the scene in an unknown direction.

The woman’s 66-year-old husband was sleeping in a different part of the home at the time of the burglary, police say.

No injuries were reported and police were unable to provide a further description of the burglars.
