6 Town Employees From Port Washington Honored for Longtime Service
One resident has served the Town for more than 41 years.
Six Port Washington residents were recently honored for their longtime dedicated service to the Town of North Hempstead.
These Town employees were awarded certificates of distinction for their 25 years or more of service with the Town at the Town Board meeting on Tuesday.

- Paul Carpenter (32 years)
- Francesco Catapano (41 years)
- Rosemary Kelly (36 years)
- Michael Pinna (29 years)
- Charles Poole, Jr. (29 years)
- Douglas Schlaefer (26 years)
A total of 28 CSEA union members received recognition.
The Town Board and Supervisor Judi Bosworth thanked these employees for their hard work and dedication to the Town and its residents.

CSEA members work in various departments in the Town including Buildings, Comptroller, Parks, Public Safety, Public Works and Highways. The CSEA was represented at the ceremony by Long Island Region One President Nick LaMorte, Local 882 President John Shepherd, and Unit 7555 President Kevin Williams.
