• MTA announces upgrades to Port Washington Long Island Rail Road station (longislandpress.com) — Port Washington commuters can expect a major overhaul of their Long Island Rail Road station, with redesigned platforms, new elevators, upgraded restrooms, and expanded ADA access now moving into the design phase. The project will also extend nearby yard tracks and improve parking lots, boosting train storage and operational flexibility for the Port Washington Branch in coming capital program cycles.
