Jennifer Cona And Jack Genser LIAF Honorees

The Long Island Alzheimer’s Foundation (LIAF), based in Port Washington, will honor Jennifer Cona, Esq., and Jack Genser, Esq. of Genser Dubow Genser & Cona (GDGC), an elder law and estate planning firm in Melville, at their 24th Annual Remembrance Ball on Friday, October 21, 2011 at the Garden City Hotel.  Proceeds from LIAF’s biggest fundraiser of the year will support a host of programs and services for Long Islanders living with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias and their family caregivers.

According to Fred Jenny, Executive Director of LIAF, “Jennifer and Jack were selected by LIAF’s Ball Committee in recognition of their outstanding service to the Long Island community as well as the care and compassion they show to the Alzheimer’s community.”  Not only do Jennifer and Jack help the elderly and disabled with legal and financial issues, but they also offer emotional support and act as a caregiving resource to the entire family.

For the past decade, Jennifer and Jack have been strong supporters of LIAF as exemplified by their involvement on a professional and personal level.  Jennifer has served on LIAF’s Legal Advisory Board for the past 12 years and now serves on the Board of Trustees.  Jack was the keynote speaker at LIAF’s Coping and Caring Conference in 2004.
