Art Guild's "Casting Shadows" Exhibit Reception October 14
Fifty-one artworks by 36 artists are on display through the month of October, with a reception on October 14 from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m.
Francisco Goya would have enjoyed The Art Guild's latest exhibit, "Casting Shadows." He was once quoted as saying, "I only see forms that are lit up and forms that are not. There is only light and shadow.” The exhibit, which is on display through October 28, features 51 artworks (including three sculptures) by 36 artists. The public is invited to attend a reception and awards ceremony for this exhibit this Sunday, October 14 from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. at The Art Guild's home, Elderfields Preserve, 200 Port Washington Boulevard in Manhasset.
Artists included in the show are: Diane Bares, Mike Barry, Katrina Benson, Caryn Coville, Aleta Crawford, Teresa Cromwell, Barbara Flamm, Ivan Frisch, Mayra Guillan, Heather Heckel, Susan Herbst, Susan Hicks, Lori Horowitz, Barbara Karyo, Marceil Kazikas, Lily Labella*, Bruce Laird, Joan Laufer, Susan Levine, Malka Lohmann, Linda Louis, Deborah Miller, Alena Moreira*, Hillary Serota Needle, Kristine Rivera, Linda S. Ruden, Irene Sankari, Roya Shams Diba, Barbara Silbert, Ilene Silberstein, Gail Staal, Joan Stevens, Margo Vignola, Elaine Walden, and Theodora Zavala.
