Attend Children's Center Gala and Help Young Children.

The PW Children's Center helps 100s of children to learn, socialize and have fun. The gala raises money for scholarships and programming.

The Port Washington Children’s Center (PWCC) will honor the late Robert L. Harding, Jr. at its annual gala on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at the Swan Club in Roslyn.

Harding, a prominent real estate entrepreneur in Port Washington, was a long-time supporter of the Children’s Center and was a dedicated advocate for affordable childcare in Port and Nassau County. His good work is remembered by many in town, and the PWCC gala will be a celebration of his commitment. A tribute scroll of honor will be presented to Harding’s family during the event. The event will feature cocktails, dinner, dancing and a silent auction. Prizes include round of golf, dine-around, theater tickets, and more.

Funds raised will support the Children’s Center’s scholarships for children whose families are in need and cannot afford full-day childcare, after school care and summer camp activities. The Peter & Jeri Dejana Family Foundation is a sponsor of the event.
