Bedroom Catches Fire At Port Washington Home
BREAKING: The blaze broke out around 8 p.m. Wednesday, fire officials said.
PORT WASHINGTON, NY — A fire broke out inside a bedroom on the second floor of a Port Washington home Wednesday evening, fire officials said. The blaze broke out around 8 p.m. on Bank Street and was contained to the room, Brian Waterson, assistant chief of the Port Washington Fire Department, told Patch.
No one was in the home at the time and no injuries were reported, he said.
The county fire marshals office is investigating. The blaze is not considered suspicious.
