Bosworth Meets Suozzi And Rice To Discuss Town Initiatives
The three politicians discussed a number of Town of North Hempstead projects.
Town of North Hempstead: North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth, Grants Coordinator Tom Devaney and Commissioner of Planning Michael Levine traveled to Washington D.C on July 10 to meet with United States Representative Kathleen Rice, Congressman Tom Suozzi and others to discuss Town initiatives. Topics discussed included: senior transportation services, recent Town park improvements, new infrastructure, the Stepping Stones lighthouse restoration project, FAA flight paths, costal resiliency and more. The goal was to update the officials on the latest Town projects with a goal of working to help obtain funding for the Town of North Hempstead.
